Energy Boost Smoothie

This energy booster shake is a lovely way to start the day! Loaded with vitamin C and fiber, this nutritional shake is great to make for your kids. 

They will love a treat on a hot summer day, after school, or for breakfast.

Ingredients:

yield: 1-2 servings

1 kiwi peeled and cut

1 cup of diced apple

1 small pear- about 1/2 cup

1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves

juice of 1/2 a lemon

1 celery stalk

1/2 cup soy milk

1 teaspoon pure maple syrup

ice (optional) 

 

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients in the blender until smooth and creamy. Drink immediately.
